mmm ami paints environments now. Looking at it now, I think the water shouldnt have been one flatish tone, a smooth gradient from brighter blue to lighter/less saturated blue wouldve helped the atmospheric perspective. The flat colour flattens the perspective out.
I agree about the water needing a gradient but also maybe along the shoreline trying more of a reflection right now feels sort of empty maybe would also add more depth.
